Winehouse’s £55,000 Glee

(Daily Mirror)

Nice work if you can get it. Amy Winehouse secured a tidy little bonus after her hit Rehab was used in Glee.

Wino was paid more than all the other artists who have had their songs used in the cult US show, including Journey’s Don’t Stop Believing.

Netting the singer a cool £55,000, it also sent Rehab back into the top 100 chart in America.

We’re told: “Amy was chuffed. She loves the show and watches religiously. She is also well aware of how popular Glee makes tracks, and is thrilled to be re-entering the charts.”
